How it works

From the listing on this site to your offer on the official PGFN platform — in three steps. Valid offers are registered only at comprei.pgfn.gov.br.

  1. 1

    Choose the asset

Browse the phases and lots promoted on this site.

  2. 2

    Open Comprei

Use Go to Comprei to reach the official platform via the auctioneer’s link.

  3. 3

    Submit your offer

Register offers only at comprei.pgfn.gov.br, with a Gov.br account.

At full appraisal value, Buy now allows installment payment (PGFN rules) and ends the sale immediately — appraisal acts as a ceiling.

Below full value, Make an offer does not allow installments and the sale ends 30 days after activation — new offers may compete in that period. The 1st offer phase closes promptly at 8:00 a.m. (including weekends and holidays), with no overtime timer.

On top of the sale price there is a 5% Public Sale Fee, paid by TED to the accredited auctioneer as listed on Comprei.

Questions and guidance

Payment terms (Portaria 824/2023)

On Comprei, installments follow PGFN rules — different from classic judicial auctions. Assess the total cost before offering.

Minimum down payment

25% of the offer value upfront. The remaining balance may be paid in installments under the Portaria rules.

Up to 59 installments (47 for vehicles)

The balance can be paid in up to 59 installments for most assets — or up to 47 if it is a vehicle (Portaria 824/2023). Longer than the typical CPC judicial auction term (usually up to 30 months).

SELIC + 1% per month

Each installment is updated by monthly accumulated SELIC (from the sale until the month before payment) plus 1% in the payment month. Financing tends to cost more: simulate the total outlay.

Official rules prevail over any simulation. Check the listing on Comprei and Portaria PGFN/MF No. 824/2023.

Comprei installment calculator

Estimate a 25% down payment, up to 59 installments and updates by monthly SELIC + 1% in the payment month (illustrative Portaria 824/2023 model).

Formula: installment in month i = (balance ÷ n) × (1 + 1% + SELIC accumulated over the previous (i−1) months). Real SELIC changes every month — use the field below to simulate scenarios.

Enter the monthly accumulated SELIC you want to simulate (e.g. 1.07). The real rate changes monthly; adjust for conservative or optimistic scenarios.

Illustrative simulation aligned with art. 11 of Portaria PGFN/MF No. 824/2023. It does not replace the official PGFN schedule or the asset listing. Effective SELIC changes every month; the auctioneer’s 5% public sale fee is not included.

How bidding works

Understanding the modes avoids surprises when you offer.

  • Buy now

Once the listing is active, whoever offers the appraisal value acquires the asset and ends the dispute. Appraisal is a ceiling — you cannot bid above that value in this mode.

  • Offer phase

Offers below full value compete during the phase period. This is not the same as an electronic auction with a countdown and overtime.

  • Closes at 8:00 a.m.

The 1st offer phase closes promptly at 8:00 a.m., including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, with no automatic extension in the final minutes.

  • Private-initiative sale

Legally Comprei is not a classic judicial auction: it is a private-initiative sale with offer dynamics. That is why we say phases, not “1st/2nd auction”.

FAQ

What is Comprei?+

It is the PGFN platform to sell assets seized or given as collateral to the Union. Valid offers are made only at comprei.pgfn.gov.br.

Can I pay in installments?+

Yes, on Buy now (full value): minimum 25% down and the balance in up to 59 installments, updated by monthly SELIC + 1% per month. Use the calculator on this page to estimate the cost.

How is it different from a judicial auction?+

Judicial auctions usually follow the CPC (25% down and balance in up to 30 months, as a rule). On Comprei the term can reach 59 installments, but with SELIC + 1% per month. Dispute and closing also follow platform-specific rules.

Where do I register my offer?+

Only on the official Comprei (PGFN) platform, with a Gov.br account. This site promotes the phases and takes you to the listing via the accredited auctioneer’s link.

What is the auctioneer’s role?+

Promote the opportunities, guide interested parties and collect the 5% Public Sale Fee. Offer handling and payment of the asset follow PGFN rules on the official platform.

What should I check before offering?+

Read the full listing on Comprei, review documents and terms, simulate installments and, if you have procedural or registration doubts, contact the accredited auctioneer through official channels.
